Paris Hilton recently revealed her interest in collaborating with Charli xcx during an interview with Billboard.

The conversation took place ahead of the release of Hilton's second album, Infinite Icon, which marks her return to music 18 years after her debut album Paris in 2006. That album featured her hit single "Stars Are Blind."

When discussing a potential collaboration, Hilton referred to Charli xcx’s Brat Summer and proudly declared, "I’m the original brat."

She further explained, "Every time I’ve spoken with [Charli], she’s like, ‘You’ve always been such an inspiration to my music.’ So I just think it just makes so much sense for us to do a song together."

During the interview, Hilton also reflected on her career, saying she enjoys watching others follow her lead in building their own brands and businesses.

She credited her time as a DJ for influencing her music, saying, "Performing all around the world at music festivals for thousands of people... I wanted to bring that same energy into the album."

Similarly, Charli xcx promoted her Brat album with a series of DJ sets and performances, including a notable appearance at Glastonbury 2024 with Robyn and The xx's Romy.

Despite the success of Brat Summer, Charli recently said goodbye to the cultural trend.
