The process to appoint a new Director General (DG) for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has advanced, with 11 candidates being shortlisted for interviews.
The shortlisted individuals also include Nadir Shafi Dar, the current acting DG of the CAA.
The interviews are scheduled to take place next week at the Ministry of Aviation, under the chairmanship of the aviation minister.
One of these shortlisted candidates will be selected by the government to serve a three-year term as DG of the CAA.
Earlier, the aviation ministry had advertised the vacancy in newspapers to attract qualified candidates.
