Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Talal Chaudhry has alleged that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, was introduced into Pakistani politics to safeguard Israeli interests.

Reacting to an article published in an Israeli newspaper, Chaudhry stated, "The Israeli newspaper has now confirmed the PTI founder’s actions regarding Israeli interests."

He further claimed that the Goldsmith family played a significant role in the PTI leader's election at Oxford University, adding that Jemima Goldsmith – Imran Khan’s former wife – has consistently supported him in difficult times.

In a separate statement, Chaudhry commented on PTI’s September 8 rally in Islamabad, cautioning the party against spreading unrest.

"If the law is violated, action will be taken. The PTI can hold 100 rallies, but the government will not allow a repeat of May 9," he said, referring to previous unrest linked to the party.

He also accused PTI of using rallies to seek an NRO.

The remarks followed a controversial article published in Israel, where the author described Imran Khan as the ideal figure to improve Pakistan-Israel relations.

The piece also claimed that the PTI leader had previously sent messages to Israel through the Goldsmith family.
