Prince William seemed to embrace a rugged appearance again on Thursday, sporting some facial scruff as he attended a private viewing of the “Homelessness: Reframed” exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
For the occasion, the 42-year-old opted for a more casual look, wearing a navy suit over a light blue collared shirt which he left unbuttoned.
People were enthusiastic about his return to this style, with one person tweeting, “I demand Prince William apologise right now for being so hot.” Another user commented, “William’s beard is back and he’s never looked better! 🤩 Let’s hope he keeps the razor away this time … because this glow-up is 🔥”
A third person wrote, “I love this era😮💨.”
The royal first debuted some facial hair over the summer when he and his wife, Kate Middleton, posted on Instagram to celebrate Team Great Britain’s performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The comments on the post were quickly filled with praise for the Prince of Wales' new look.
“I had to watch that again, just to see William’s stubble – wowza! 🙌” one commenter wrote, while another joked that the makeover was distracting,
“I’ll be honest, didn’t hear anything anyone said after I saw William with beard…..🤩🥵.”
However, a few weeks later, Prince William was seen clean-shaven while attending church with his family.
His return to his old appearance led some to speculate that the beard was a seasonal choice for summer before resuming royal duties in September — but it seems he had a change of heart.
This isn’t the first time Prince William has opted for a more grown-out look.
