Lady Gaga says she’s a 'huge' Chappell Roan fan at Venice Film Festival

Lady Gaga revealed her admiration for Chappell Roan to a reporter while signing autographs at Venice.

Lady Gaga surprised fans by revealing that she’s a dedicated fan of fellow artist Chappell Roan. 

During her appearance at the Venice Film Festival, where she’s been promoting her upcoming film Joker: Folie à Deux alongside Joaquin Phoenix, the 38-year-old singer was approached with a simple question about Roan. 

When asked if she was a fan, Gaga enthusiastically replied, “Yes! Huge!”

The brief but enthusiastic declaration caught the attention of fans, with one responding on X (formerly Twitter), “If I were Chappell, I’d just play this over and over again.” 

Another fan added, “Mother loving her Daughter… ofc.” A third chimed in with, “RELEASE THE COLLAB OMG,” sparking excitement about the potential of a collaboration between the two singers.

Chappell Roan, known for her bold stage presence and dynamic performances, shares a similar flair for theatrics with Gaga. Fans are already drawing parallels between the two artists’ energy and hoping for future projects together.

Beyond her musical interests, Lady Gaga has also been making headlines for her impeccable fashion sense and public appearances. 

She arrived in Venice on 2 September, hand in hand with her fiancé, wearing a striking black and white polka dot La Roxx minidress and showcasing an 8-carat engagement ring. Gaga confirmed her engagement to Michael Polansky at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

In Joker: Folie à Deux, Gaga takes on the role of Harley Quinn, a psychiatrist who falls in love with Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck, adding another chapter to her expanding acting career.
