Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short n’ Sweet’ expected to stay at no. 1, holding off Travis Scott
Sabrina Carpenter's Short n’ Sweet is predicted to hold its No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week, with an estimated 155,000 units, according to HITS Daily Double.
The album made an impressive debut last week, earning 362,000 equivalent album units and marking Carpenter's best week to date.
Travis Scott's Days Before Rodeo sits just behind at No. 2 with 361,000 units but is unlikely to surpass Short n’ Sweet.
Carpenter’s success follows the release of hit singles like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” the latter reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This marks Carpenter's first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
Scott's Days Before Rodeo, a commercial release of his 2014 mixtape, debuted last week, but Carpenter's continued momentum is expected to keep her at the top for another week.
The full Billboard 200 chart for the week of September 7, 2024, will be posted on September 4.
