Two oil tankers torched, two stolen

Police told The Express Tribune that two oil tankers were intercepted and both the vehicles were set on fire.

In what appears to be yet another incident of terrorism, unidentified armed men torched two oil tankers in the Bannu district of K-P on Wednesday. The same miscreants also intercepted another two tankers and whisked the vehicles away, while also kidnapping the drivers.

Police told The Express Tribune that two oil tankers, carrying crude oil in Bannu, were intercepted and both the vehicles were set on fire.

The tankers were badly damaged by the inferno. Similarly, these armed men intercepted two more oil tankers, took the vehicles into their custody, and kidnapped the drivers.
