Tamra Judge gave her fans a glimpse of her significant facial swelling following plastic surgery and a carbon-dioxide laser treatment aimed at reversing signs of aging.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star struggled to open her eyes as she described her recent brow lift in a vlog posted to Instagram on Sunday.
“OK, guys, this is day three. It’s supposed to be the worst of it when it comes to swelling,” she said while showing different angles of her face.
Judge, 57, explained that she was dealing with severe facial swelling due to the CO2 treatment, which Healthline notes is often used to treat wrinkles.
“The swelling is from the CO2 laser. You can see it’s all the way down my chest. But you can imagine what it feels like,” she said, referring to the “nice and crispy” texture of her skin.
Later in the day, the Bravo star provided another update while resting in bed, dressed in cheetah-print pajamas.
Barely able to move her face, she mumbled, “Swelling is supposed to be at its worst right now. I don’t know how it can get any worse. I feel like my skin is going to burst. You can see it’s getting oozy. I can barely open my eyes.”
Judge mentioned that her throat was sore from the tube used during the procedure, but she was hopeful that she would “turn a corner” by Monday.
“Progress isn’t always pretty, but it’s happening,” she captioned the clip.
On Saturday, the reality TV star shared a detailed clip of her plastic surgery experience in a joint Instagram video with Dr. Donald Mowlds, her surgeon in Newport Beach, Calif.
Judge also posted selfies of herself in a hospital gown and hair net as she prepared for the procedure.
