Amna Ilyas lauds Angeline Malik's dedication

Model praises fellow celeb on return to work following car accident

In a recent update on Instagram, Pakistani model and actor Amna Ilyas praised fellow actor Angeline Malik for her work ethic following a car accident that spiralled into a controversy. Amna's post read: "This woman! After being in such a terrible situation, she is back to work. I salute your courage!" The post further featured Angeline in a mundane setting, conversing with an off-camera individual.

Not long ago, Angeline got into a car accident on Seaview Road. Due to an untimely malfunction, her vehicle collided with a rickshaw, resulting in minor injuries and damages on both ends. A mob soon flocked to the area, surrounding the Pakeezah actor's car and seizing her phone as an act of outrage.

The video clip further showed Angeline's persistence in urging the crowd to return her phone. She pleaded that she did not mean to flee, rather she intended to call for assistance and deal with the matter in a respectful manner.

The incident was captured in a viral video clip that circulated across social media platforms. In the recording, the 49-year-old actor was captured being unable to negotiate with the people in her vicinity.

On August 19, Natasha Danish's reckless driving resulted in the deaths of Karachi University student Amna Arif and her father Imran Arif. The driver was suspected to be under the influence of intoxicants, which was deduced through a viral video clip in which she appeared to be dazed and unresponsive to an angry mob's confrontation after the accident.

Citizens of Karachi have since championed sensitivity regarding matters of incautious driving, especially for large vehicles, which were driven by both Natasha and Angeline. Fortunately, in the actor's case, no casualties were inflicted. The mob was also dealt with once authorities arrived at the scene.

The matter has since been resolved due to monetary compensation offered by the actor to the affected rickshaw driver.
