George Clooney disputes $35 million dollars salary reports for 'Wolfs'

George Clooney clarified that he and Brad Pitt were paid significantly less than reported for "Wolfs"

George Clooney addressed recent reports regarding his and Brad Pitt's salaries for their new action-comedy film, "Wolfs."

Clooney, speaking at a press conference ahead of the film's premiere at the Venice Film Festival, clarified that the reported figure of over $35 million each was inaccurate. He stated that their actual pay was "millions and millions and millions of dollars less."   

Clooney expressed concern about the impact of such inflated salary reports on the film industry, stating that it creates unrealistic expectations and could make it difficult to finance future projects.   

The "Ocean's Eleven" costars reunited for "Wolfs," which follows two lone-wolf fixers forced to collaborate on a high-profile case. While fans are eager to see the duo back on screen, Clooney voiced his disappointment over Apple's decision to limit the film's theatrical release. He acknowledged the challenges facing the industry post-COVID and emphasized the need to adapt to the changing landscape.
