A fire broke out at a private hotel on McLeod Road, Lahore. The incident was first reported near the Australia Mosque which led to the mobilization of the emergency services.
Upon receiving the alert, Rescue 1122 dispatched the emergency vehicles to the scene. Firefighters engaged in a battle to control the flames that had rapidly engulfed the hotel. As the fire spread, smoke filled the interior, endangering the lives of those trapped inside.
Rescue 1122 personnel, utilising ladders and other equipment, managed to evacuate individuals from the smoke-filled hotel, bringing them to safety. Despite the intensity of the situation, the firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, ensuring the safety of all occupants. By 12:55pm, the fire was successfully brought under control, with Rescue 1122 reporting that the situation had been stabilised. The timely intervention by the emergency teams prevented what could have been a far more catastrophic incident.
