Nine cops injured in clash with truckers

Nine police officers, including a DSP, were injured during a truck drivers' protest near Tando Jam Toll Plaza.

During an operation to end a protest by truck drivers near Tando Jam Toll Plaza close to Hyderabad, nine police officers, including a DSP, were injured as they faced resistance from the demonstrators, who attacked them with sticks and stones.

The injured officers, including the DSP and SHO, were taken to Civil Hospital Hyderabad for treatment. Following the incident, Rahoki Police registered two separate cases under various charges, including those related to the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), obstruction of government duty, rioting, and disturbing public order.
