In a recently released video exclusive to PEOPLE, Joe Alwyn disclosed an unexpected moment with his "Kinds of Kindness" co-star, Emma Stone.

The video, featuring the film's cast and director Yorgos Lanthimos, comes ahead of the movie's digital release on August 27, with bonus behind-the-scenes content and deleted scenes included.

During the interview, the cast was asked to reveal something fans might not know about Emma Stone. Mamoudou Athie highlighted her comedic side, stating, "She's very funny," before Alwyn added a surprising revelation.

"She is also trustworthy. I cut her hair, which just means cutting off her ponytail, but even so!" Alwyn, 33, shared with a grin, to which Athie responded, "Still! That could go bad."

The video also showcased other cast members like Jesse Plemons, who spoke about the unique atmosphere on set.

"As dark as some of the subject matter and scenes are, there is really a sense of play and exploration. It feels like some sort of weird summer camp or something," Plemons, 36, remarked.

"Kinds of Kindness," directed by Lanthimos, weaves together three distinct stories: one about a man striving to reclaim control of his life, another about a policeman dealing with the mysterious return of his wife, and the third involving a woman searching for someone with a unique spiritual gift. The film's star-studded cast includes Willem Dafoe, Hong Chau, Margaret Qualley, and Hunter Schafer.

Emma Stone, 35, praised Alwyn in the production notes, recalling their previous work together in Lanthimos' 2018 film "The Favourite." "I love Joe," Stone said, noting the comfort of working with him during the film’s intense scenes.

"We had to do some pretty dark stuff on this one, so it was extremely comforting to be with him because he’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet."

"Kinds of Kindness" will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on October 8.
