Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy reportedly had an interest in Ben Affleck long before they began interacting.

Page Six exclusively reported over the weekend that the two have been spending time together amidst Affleck's divorce from Jennifer Lopez. Now, sources have informed People that the 36-year-old daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has "always" had a soft spot for the A-list actor.

“Kick’s celeb crush has always been Ben,” an insider told the outlet on Monday.

Kick, who is both an actress and an activist, was described as a “partier” who “likes to have a good time.”

The two reportedly began getting acquainted in late spring. However, details about how they met or the specifics of their relationship remain unclear.

Lopez and Affleck notably parted ways on April 26, 2024. However, the "Jenny From the Block" singer didn't officially file for divorce until last week, coinciding with their second wedding anniversary.

Though Kick and Affleck have kept their friendship discreet, a Hollywood insider recently mentioned that the two have been seen together at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel and other popular venues.

Kick is RFK Jr.'s eldest daughter and the second of his six children. She has had minor roles in productions like “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Gossip Girl” after studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in West Hollywood.

Despite keeping her personal life private, she was linked romantically to Paul Simon’s son Harper Simon from 2013 to 2014.

She also had a relationship with billionaire bank heir Matthew Mellon in the months leading up to his untimely death in 2018, which left her “heartbroken.”

Meanwhile, Affleck was married to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, who social media users believe shares a striking resemblance to Kick, from 2005 to 2018.
