On August 23, 2024, a life-size wax figure of Nipsey Hussle was unveiled at Invest Fest in Atlanta, capturing the attention of attendees and fans on social media.

The figure was created in honor of the late rapper, Ermias Joseph Asghedom, known as Nipsey Hussle, who was tragically killed in 2019 outside his Marathon Clothing store in South Central Los Angeles.

While the wax figure aimed to pay tribute to Nipsey's enduring legacy, the reception was mixed.

Many fans voiced their disappointment, particularly with the figure's pose, which they felt was awkward and unflattering.

"Why they got him standing like that?" one user wrote on X, echoing the sentiments of others who believed the figure could have been positioned better.

Despite this, some fans praised the artist's effort, noting the lifelike detail of the statue.

Nipsey Hussle was not only a celebrated rapper but also a visionary dedicated to transforming his community through economic empowerment.

He co-founded the Marathon Clothing store and invested in real estate development to improve the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles.

His innovative approach to the music industry, including the launch of his record label 'All Money In,' garnered widespread attention and accolades, including a Grammy for Best Rap Performance in 2020 and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
