A blast in the Bolan region of Balochistan has left one person dead and several others injured, prompting the suspension of train services in the area.
The explosion, which occurred last night in the Dozan area of Bolan, destroyed a railway bridge, according to railway sources.
The collapse of the bridge has halted train movements from Karachi and Rawalpindi to Quetta and other parts of the country.
The incident has severely disrupted transportation, stranding passengers and halting operations.
In a separate incident, armed men in Balochistan’s Musakhel district killed at least 23 passengers after forcibly removing them from trucks and buses on the national highway in the Rarah Sham area.
The assailants also set ten vehicles on fire.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attacks, expressing his condolences to the victims' families.
He vowed that the Balochistan government would pursue those responsible for these acts of terrorism and ensure they face an exemplary end.
