Zayn Malik sent fans into a frenzy after unveiling a new hairstyle on Instagram.
On Friday, the former One Direction star surprised his followers by sharing an acapella video of himself performing his song “Shoot At Will”—but many viewers were more intrigued by his new hair than his vocal performance.
Instead of his usual short haircut, Malik now sports much longer hair, somewhat reminiscent of his boy band days.
The “Pillowtalk” singer, 31, also sported a full beard, contrasting with his typical slight stubble.
“Give me the haircare routine cause how tf your hair grows that fast,” one fan commented.
“Damn the beard 😭😭😭,” another wrote, as a third added, “His voice, his hair, his beard, his eyes, his tattoos, I just adore him.”
In the video, the singer wore cream pants and a matching long-sleeve button-up shirt with rolled sleeves, showcasing his heavily tattooed arms.
Malik, who was seated in front of a large boxing painting, looked away from the camera while singing the track from his 2024 album, “Room Under the Stairs.”
Before his album release, the “Stargazing” singer seldom used social media or appeared at Hollywood events.
However, the former “X Factor” contestant made his first public appearance in nearly five years at Paris Fashion Week in January.
Malik, who now lives primarily on his farm in Pennsylvania, was seen front row at the Kenzo runway show alongside Pharrell Williams, former Christian Dior CEO Sidney Toledano, and singer Rita Ora.
The pop star looked sharp in a navy blue patterned tweed suit with a white undershirt, which he left slightly unbuttoned to display his tattooed torso and neck.
Later in the week, Malik also attended Loewe’s Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 show and the Valentino Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025.
