KARACHI:

Muttahida Qaumi Movem-ent Pakistan's (MQM-P) leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly, Ali Khursheedi, reacted to Sindh Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah's statement, saying that the Sindh government's narrative of corruption is known to every child in Sindh.

On Saturday, the minister stated that the MQM-P must realise that they no longer hold control over Karachi. "Every good deed of PPP government is denied but people of Karachi recongnise the party's efforts," Shah stated.

Responding to the minister's statement, Khursheedi said that when there is development worldwide, there is corruption, but if one wants to indulge in corruption in Sindh, they want to develop the province.

The PPP government has turned corruption into an industry in Sindh. Every year, the Sindh government ranks first in corruption in reports by national and international institutions.

He further said, "Nasir Hussain Shah should tell us how many Karachi youngsters have been employed by his government in the last 15 years.
