The Sindh government has imposed a ban on pillion riding across the province, including Karachi, on the occasion of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

The ban will also be enforced in the districts of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Sukkur, and Larkana.

In addition to the ban on pillion riding, the Sindh government has prohibited the use of drones, citing security concerns during Chehlum.

Sindh’s Home Department has issued a notification to all DIGs and SSPs across the province, instructing them to ensure strict compliance with the ban.

All SSPs have been directed to enforce these measures effectively to maintain peace and order during the observance.
