Selena Gomez shuts down engagement rumors with Benny Blanco

Neither Selena nor Benny has directly addressed the rumors, Benny previously hinted marrying her has crossed his mind.

Selena Gomez is tired of the ongoing rumors about her engagement to Benny Blanco.

The Only Murders in the Building star appeared to shut down the gossip when she was seen without a ring on that finger while attending the Aug. 22 premiere of the Hulu comedy series' fourth season in Los Angeles.

However, Selena did accessorize her black mini-dress and oversized blazer with some jewelry, wearing rings on her middle fingers while posing for photos with co-stars Steve Martin, Meryl Streep, and Martin Short.

Speculation about an engagement between Benny and Selena, who have been dating for over a year, began when the "Hands to Myself" singer shared a mirror selfie with a heart emoji strategically placed over one of her hands.

The Aug. 8 photo showed Selena in a champagne-colored slip dress with her producer boyfriend in the background, further confusing fans since she wasn't wearing any rings on her fingers in the other photos she posted to her Instagram Stories.

Although neither Selena nor Benny has directly addressed the rumors, Benny previously hinted that marrying the Disney alum has crossed his mind.

After Howard Stern mentioned he was "predicting marriage” for the couple during the producer's May interview on The Howard Stern Show, Blanco responded simply, “You and me both.”

And that’s not the only thing on his mind when it comes to his relationship with Selena. Benny also shared that he hopes to expand their family in the future.

"I've got a lotta god kids, I've got a ton of nephews," the 36-year-old said. "It's my thing. I love being around kids."

As for Selena? She definitely doesn’t see herself being single anytime soon. As she told Time in May, “I just cherish every moment with him."
