Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight tells Brad Pitt to 'step up' and 'end this nonsense' amid lawsuit

For nearly eight years, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been entangled not only in a bitter dispute over their French winery but also in conflicts regarding the upbringing of their six children—Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

The Jolie-Pitt family has faced numerous issues, including allegations of abuse and name changes.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Jon Voight, Jolie's father and an Academy Award-winning actor, shared his thoughts on the ongoing family conflict.

Voight, who acknowledged that he doesn't see his grandchildren as often as he would like, emphasized the need for resolution. "I wish they'd find a way to make peace," Voight said while promoting his film "Reagan," where he plays ex-KGB agent Viktor Ivanov. "You know, I think the kids need some stability. I love the kids, and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up to do, you know, what he has to do. End this nonsense."

Jolie and Pitt, who were married for two years, separated in 2016 after an alleged altercation on a plane ended their 12-year relationship. They were legally single by 2019.

In 2022, Jolie was awarded sole physical custody of the children after a brief period during which Pitt had joint custody. Pitt was later granted "custodial time." The current custody arrangement remains unclear. Jolie has previously stated that her decision to leave Pitt was made for the well-being of their children.
