Cristiano Ronaldo sparks marriage rumors with Georgina Rodriguez in new YouTube video
Cristiano Ronaldo may have just revealed that he is a married man after referring to his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, as his "wife."
The 39-year-old football star has been in a relationship with Georgina since 2016.
The couple shares two children, and Georgina also plays the role of stepmother to his other three children.
Despite this, the couple has not made any public announcement about their marriage.
However, Ronaldo may have subtly suggested that he and Georgina have secretly tied the knot.
This speculation arose after the former Manchester United player mentioned he would introduce his "wife" while speaking on his new YouTube channel, before revealing Georgina as they prepared to play the Mr. and Mrs. game.
Fans quickly noticed the comment, with one remarking, "The way how he calls her 'my wife' >>>"
Another added, "He said 'my wife, Gio'."
Additionally, both Ronaldo and Georgina were seen wearing rings in the video.
Earlier this year, Ronaldo fueled marriage rumors after referring to Georgina as "wife" while filming an advert for the sports brand Whoop.
In that video, Ronaldo was training at home when he referred to Georgina as "my wife," sparking further speculation about their possible marriage.
The Al-Nassr captain specifically stated, "When I'm not training at the club, I like to train with my wife at home. Because I can motivate her and she can motivate me too."
Following this video, Ronaldo's publicist issued a statement to People, saying they had "no knowledge of whether or not Cristiano is married to Georgina."
Ronaldo launched his new YouTube channel and within just 45 minutes of the first video upload, the channel had already gained 342,000 subscribers.
Ronaldo broke a world record by becoming the fastest person to reach 1 million subscribers on the platform.
