Cardi B addressed “dumb” rumors about her complexion while pregnant with her third child with estranged husband Offset.

The “Bodak Yellow” artist responded to an X user on Wednesday after they shared a recent photo of her and speculated whether she had “been bleaching her skin.”

“Bleaching while pregnant? Why must yall be so dumb?” Cardi replied.

Cardi B dismissed the speculation, explaining that her skin tone appears different due to anemia, a condition caused by an iron deficiency that results in a low number of red blood cells. Mild anemia is common during pregnancy, according to the Mayo Clinic.

“I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic, this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy,” Cardi explained.

“PLEAE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A—HOLE!” she concluded.

This isn’t the first time Cardi has spoken about complications during her pregnancy.

Earlier this month, the pregnant rapper disclosed that she experienced a “freak accident” that required hospitalization.

Although she didn’t share specific details, she mentioned that the incident left her feeling “paralyzed” and could have led to a miscarriage.

“And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come, but it didn’t,” she said.

While in the hospital, Cardi said doctors gave her morphine, but once she returned home, the numbing effects began to fade.

“Today I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying,” she said. “Like, I’m dying. I swear to God. If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital, and I don’t give a f–k.”

The rapper announced she was expecting her third child on August 1 — just a day after filing for divorce from Migos member Offset.
