Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, citing April 26 as the date of their separation.

Ben Affleck appeared in high spirits as he stepped off a private jet with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, just hours before Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce.

On Tuesday, the former couple arrived in Los Angeles after dropping their daughter Violet off at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

The actor, who was not wearing a wedding ring and dressed in a button-up shirt with black slacks, smiled as he descended the plane’s steps, carrying a leather duffle bag.

Garner followed closely behind, dressed in a black T-shirt and green cargo pants, with a backpack slung over her shoulder.

The exes were accompanied by their 15-year-old child, Seraphina, who was seen wearing a Yale sweatshirt.

The family then got into Affleck’s matte black BMW, with Garner sitting in the front passenger seat.

Just hours after these photos were taken, Lopez filed for divorce from the "Gone Girl" actor, citing April 26 as the date of their separation.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Lopez indicated that they did not have a prenuptial agreement and requested that the judge waive spousal support.

Her decision to file for divorce on Tuesday was particularly noteworthy, as it coincided with the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding.

The "Gigli" co-stars rekindled their relationship in 2021 after calling off their initial engagement in the early 2000s.

“They’ve turned the page on all the unfinished business of 20-plus years ago. They’ve seen things through to the end — and they know for sure now that they are not built for the long haul,” sources previously told Page Six.

Insiders have told us that Affleck, Lopez, and their five children are “ready to move on” with their lives, as rumors of the A-list couple’s split have persisted for months.
