The 2024 Democratic National Convention has kicked off, sparking curiosity about which celebrities will attend and show their support for Vice President Kamala Harris and the vice-presidential nominee, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Lil Jon made an unexpected appearance at the convention during Georgia's roll call, where he performed "Turn Down for What" while dancing around the venue.

Eva Longoria, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, briefly spoke on behalf of the Texas delegates before passing the microphone to Cecile Richards, the former president of Planned Parenthood. Texas’ roll call was accompanied by an instrumental version of Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ’Em.” The state cast 263 votes in support of Harris. Longoria, an actor and producer, has been a vocal advocate for reproductive rights and produced the 2018 documentary “Reversing Roe,” which focuses on abortion rights and access in the United States.

Iconic filmmaker Spike Lee was seen standing beside New York Governor Kathy Hochul during the roll call for New York.

Country music artist Mickey Guyton was seen on stage at the DNC. Guyton has previously endorsed and campaigned for President Biden and former President Barack Obama.

Stephen Colbert was spotted on the convention floor, true to his style, dressed as a Chicago native. Sporting a beard and decked out in Chicago Bulls gear, Colbert was seen conversing with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.
