The Pakistan National team houses many incredible players, one of whom recently took to Instagram to write a heartfelt message dedicated to his wife. The top-order batter, Imamul Haq, posted a carousel of pictures, featuring happy faces of him and his wife as they posed together for a selfie.
In the caption, Imam penned, "Life has its ups and downs, and it keeps moving. Learning to ride the waves is easier with this amazing woman by my side." The poetic rendition is a sweet reference to the couple's happy life as they traverse through various phases together. While the road can be bumpy and ladened with obstacles, nothing seems to be a source of discomfort for the player as long as he has his companion by his side.
He further added, "She makes everything beautiful - my rock and support" while attaching a picture of a green mug with an amazing ergonomic design that spelled 'miyan' (husband). The specific choice of images, coupled with the caption propel netizens to wish the couple good luck and blessings for the future. While the comments portray a huge fan base of the cricketer, many fans are also seen urging Imam to start playing again.
The player is well known for his remarkable career in domestic and international matches. Previously, he has served as a batsman while winning Pakistan's ODI Squad in 2017 against Sri lanka, and the highest opening partnership against Zimbabwe in 2018. While he was selected for a squad to tour during the COVID-19 pandemic and later, the cricketer eventually tied the knot with his wife Anmol Mehmood in 2023 and the couple continues to live happily together in Punjab.
