The viral video of MrBasedNYC allegedly assaulting YouTuber Alex Novell has sparked widespread outrage.

Kick streamer MrBasedNYC, also known as Jason Lubell Itzler, has sparked significant attention on social media after allegedly assaulting YouTuber Alex Novell. 

The incident occurred on 20 August 2024, while Novell was reportedly making a documentary about the streamer. 

Video of the alleged assault quickly went viral on platforms like X, intensifying the controversy surrounding the streamer. 

Itzler, who has a criminal history involving money laundering, prostitution, and drug charges, is no stranger to controversy.

According to reports, Novell was investigating allegations of murder linked to Itzler when the alleged assault took place. 

This altercation has further damaged Itzler's already controversial reputation, especially following his recent suspension from Kick. His channel was temporarily removed on 24 June 2024 after he attempted to forcibly kiss a woman during a livestream.

Itzler, who promotes himself as the "world's greatest livestreamer," is well-known for his IRL content and frequent appearances on popular media platforms like The Howard Stern Show.
