Actor Fawad Khan's blockbuster Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt will be released in Indian theaters next month.
An Indian entertainment website has reported that actor Fawad Khan's mega-hit film will be released in Indian theaters on September 20. The Legend of Maula Jatt also stars Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in key roles.
According to the report, close sources to the film suggest that The Legend of Maula Jatt might be released in India by ZEE Studios.
It is worth noting that some Pakistani extremists opposed to the film have threatened to block its release in India.
Maula Jatt was released in Pakistan in 2022 and achieved exceptional success.
The film is a remake of the 1979 hit film Maula Jatt, whose main characters, Maula Jatt and Noori Natt, gained tremendous fame through actors Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qureshi.
