Remand extended for identification parade

LAHORE:

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) judge extended judicial remand by August 20 of two accused by accepting request of the investigation officer to complete identification parade in a case allegedly involved in kidnapping for ransom Pakistan's well-known drama writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar.

As proceedings commenced, the IO sought some time for the purpose of conducting identification parade of the accused Hassan Shah and Rafique alias Fiki.

However, ATC judge extended the remand by tomorrow. According to the FIR, the suspects robbed Qamar of his mobile phone, watch, cash, and transferred Rs250,000 from his ATM card.
