Kerry Washington, Mindy Kaling, Tony Goldwyn, and Ana Navarro to host 2024 DNC

Each star will host 1 night of the 4 day event, kicking off the broadcast and making appearances throughout the events

Kerry Washington, Mindy Kaling, Tony Goldwyn, and Ana Navarro will host the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The four-day event starts Monday in Chicago.

Washington, Kaling, Goldwyn, and Navarro will each host one night of the convention. On their respective nights, they will kick off the broadcast with opening remarks and make appearances throughout the evening.

The schedule is as follows: Goldwyn (Monday), Navarro (Tuesday), Kaling (Wednesday), and Washington (Thursday). On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris will formally accept the Democratic nomination for president.

Ana Navarro, a co-host on The View, expressed her excitement about being chosen for the role on Instagram. "I can't tell you how much it means to me," she said. "I'm a little refugee girl who fled Communism, who fled Nicaragua at the age of 8, found freedom, found opportunity, found a home in America."

Tony Goldwyn previously played a president on Scandal, which also starred Washington. Goldwyn currently stars on Law & Order, while Washington stars on UnPrisoned. Kaling is known for her role on The Office.

Washington has experience speaking at the DNC, previously taking the stage in 2012 and 2020.

Other notable speakers at the convention include former President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and President Joe Biden.
