In a touching Instagram post, Pakistani drama actor and musician Azaan Sami Khan recently celebrated his father, well-known Indian musician Adnan Sami Khan, on his birthday. Azaan's tribute not only celebrates his father's special day but also acknowledges the shared love the two have for music.
"Happy Birthday my Baba. Love you to the moon and back. Have the best day and most incredible year ahead inshAllah," Azaan wrote in his post, accompanied by a sweet image of the two which shows Azaan sitting on the steps of the famous London Abbey Road Studios with his father standing above him, wide smiles on both their faces.
The recording studio, established in 1931 is used by many prominent musicians, best known for its relation to The Beatles who recorded in the studio and then shot their famous album cover walking over the zebra crossing right outside. Other big names who have used Abbey Road Studios include Pink Floyd, Kanye West and Adele. It's unknown when the picture was taken and if the duo recorded in the studios or simply paid it a visit, but if the former, that makes the father-son duo now a part of this larger-than-life list.
Having recently turned 31 himself, Azaan was wished by industry colleagues, one of them being Mahira Khan. The actor took to her Instagram Stories to share some unseen behind-the-scenes videos and pictures with Azaan, who she worked with on the Pakistani musical drama, Superstar. In the video, the two were seen dancing romantically on their song, TU, which was released in 2021.
