Trans leader's stolen cash recovered

Police have tracked down four suspects who looted the house of transgender leader, Almas Bobby, in the Civil Lines area of Rawalpindi, and have recovered the stolen items.

Almas had reported that her associates had stolen cash worth Rs1.5 million from her. Rawalpindi CPO Khalid Hamdani took notice.

According to the police, a well-known transgender leader, Almas Bobby, approached the police and said that the accused, Faizan, used to accompany her to various programmes and events. She reported that he was aware that she had recently sold her car for Rs1.5 million in cash that she had kept in her house. She suspected that it was him and her other associates who stole the cash from her house along with mobile phones and other belongings.

Rawalpindi CPO Khalid Hamdani took notice of the incident and formed a police team under the supervision of SSP Operation Hafiz Kamran Asghar, which was headed by SP Investigation Zunaira Azfar. The SP investigated the case from all angles and identified the four accused Dawood, Zarnain, Faizan and Ihtisham. The police arrested the accused and recovered the stolen money worth Rs1.5 million, mobile phones and other items.

CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani lauded the performance of the police team for arresting the accused and complete recovery of stolen items.
