6 men go missing from Jamshoro, Hyderabad

Family of overseas Pakistani reports Dawood left home on Aug 14 but never returned

Six men, including an overseas Pakistani, have reportedly gone missing from Jamshoro and Hyderabad on August 14.

A complainant, Advocate Shahbaz Rind, told police that his nephew, 32-year-old Dawood Rind, had left home before 4pm on August 14 leaving his phone at home but did not return. He said that his family checked with all relatives and friends but Rind remained without a trace.

Rind added that his nephew returned to Pakistan on June 4 to spend some months with his mother who lives in Naseem Nagar phase III in Qasimabad. The young man's father, Muhammad Misri Rind, lives in Canada.

The complainant alleged that the family reported the disappearance of Dawood to Naseem Nagar police but the cops did not cooperate.

Subsequently, a complaint was submitted to the SSP office while the Canadian embassy has also been informed about the incident.

Separately, SSP Jamshoro district has given an inquiry of the disappearance of five young men to DSP Kotri Shahnawaz Jokhio. The families of 21-year-old Waris Ali Khunharo, 21-year-old Zeeshan Abro, 22-year-old Sabir Abro, 22-year-old Sirajuddin Burdi and 25-year-old Shahkar Lakher told the police that the mobile phones of all of them are switched off. The motorcycles of the young men are also without any trace.

Advocate Yousuf Khunharo, uncle of Waris Ali, has lodged a complaint with the Kotri police about the missing men.
