Former film star Noor Bukhari, who left the showbiz industry for religious reasons, strongly condemned those mocking Pakistan on Independence Day.
In a message shared on her official Instagram story, Noor expressed her disappointment at the numerous videos she had seen where people were making fun of the country.
She emphasised that Pakistan is like a mother to its citizens, and mocking it is not a laughing matter but rather a cause for deep shame.
In her message, she urged people to appreciate the value of this free nation, warning that if they don’t, this blessing could be taken away.
Noor also reminded everyone that without Pakistan, they would not have an identity.
Noor's story quickly went viral on social media, with many users agreeing with her sentiments, stating that those who do not appreciate Pakistan should consider leaving rather than criticising the country from within.
