Governor Sindh honours Olympic Gold medallist Arshad Nadeem with Rs2m reward

Kamran Tessori praised Arshad Nadeem’s dedication and a grand reception was hosted for him at Governor House

Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem was warmly welcomed by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House on Wednesday.

The reception was held in honour of Arshad’s historic achievement, with the Governor announcing a cash reward of Rs2 million for the national hero.

During the event, Governor Tessori praised Arshad’s dedication, stating that the entire nation stands behind him.

He credited Arshad's success to the prayers of his parents and highlighted the significance of his victory for Pakistan.

"Arshad Nadeem has brought great joy to the nation after a long time," the Governor remarked.

The event saw a large gathering of people from across Sindh, including businessmen who announced additional rewards and incentives for Nadeem.

Governor Kamran also shared that the Sindh government would contribute Rs50 million, with a total of Rs100 million being collected from the Governor House.
