In a bid to boost tourism and attract foreign investment, the government on Tuesday launched a new visa policy, which includes facility of online visa application and waiver of visa fee for the nationals of 126 countries.
Addressing a news conference, Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, Culture and National Heritage Attaullah Tarar said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would launch the new visa policy on the eve of the Independence Day, adding the new visa policy is aimed at simplifying the visa process.
The federal information minister said the nationals of these countries will be able to get visas within 10 minutes after filling an online form containing 30 questions.
