Fatherhood transformed Post Malone's life "in the best way ever."

The "Circles" rapper and his fiancée welcomed a daughter in May 2022, shortly after Malone revealed their pregnancy to People.

The Grammy winner chose not to make a formal birth announcement but shared the joyous news of his baby's arrival during a chat with Howard Stern in June 2022.

Later, in an interview with GQ, the Crocs collaborator discussed the difficulties of juggling life on tour with fatherhood.

"It's really tough not being able to see her, but she's coming out more often now," he shared with the outlet.

"I'm just happy to see her. But it is heartbreaking having to leave and not be able to be with her all the time."

In an August 2023 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, host Alex Cooper asked Malone about his biggest fear in life.

"I guess not being able to be there for my baby, which is a new fear," the rapper admitted. "That's why I tried to slow down on drinking, to take better care of my body."

Although Malone has not disclosed his daughter's name or exact birth date, People confirmed that he and his fiancée welcomed their first child in May 2022.

TMZ reported that the couple celebrated their upcoming arrival with a private gathering for family and friends in Southern California during the last weekend of April 2022.

Malone, originally from Syracuse, New York, and raised in Grapevine, Texas, lived in Los Angeles from age 18 until moving to a mountainside home near Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2019.

Who is Post Malone’s fiancée and mother to his child?

Malone has kept his fiancée’s identity and their relationship private, never posting about them on social media. He first referred to her as his fiancée in June 2022 during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

A year later, on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Malone recounted their engagement story.

"It was in Vegas," he told host Alex Cooper.

"I had lost a significant amount of money at the table. We go upstairs and I’m off my rocker hammered and I was like, ‘Hey, you wanna marry me?' I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said 'no.' She’s like, ‘Ask me tomorrow,’ and I was like, 'Alright.' And then I did and I was sober and it was nice."

The "Better Now" singer mentioned that he felt certain she was the "right" person for him.

"I could tell ... her heart is so massive," he said.

"I've always wanted kids and a big family. And I could tell she was going to be a really good mama. And she's like No. 1 mom in the f—ing universe."

Who is Post Malone’s daugher?

Although her full name remains undisclosed, Malone has shared his daughter's initials: DDP. He has tattooed these letters on his forehead, above the "Stay Away" tattoo on the right side of his face.

In October 2022, tattoo artist Chad Rowe completed the ink, sharing a photo of the rapper’s new tattoo on Instagram.

Rowe remarked that receiving the "trust of such [an] important tattoo is a huge honor."

Malone is still determining whether his young daughter enjoys his music, but he told GQ that so far, things seem promising.

"I can't tell yet. She hasn't cried whenever I put my music on so far, which I think is a good sign, but we'll wait and find out. I got to let her decide," he said.

"I tried to play her some stuff but I can't really tell what she's into right now."

"She's going to have to like my music, I think, [or] she's going to get used to it — I know everybody at the house plays it for her and hopefully, they'll get stuck in her head," he added.

"Kids love my music for some reason, which is awesome, so I'm hoping that she just goes with the flow on that one."

He admitted that she might dislike his music just because it's made by her dad. "... She'll be like, "Dad, you suck. Just go away."
