PM orders provision of electricity supply to Arshad Nadeem's residence

Around 200 households, of Chak 101/15 L will benefit from the upgrades at the Olympic gold medalist's residence

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued instrcutions for electricity supply to be provided to the residence of Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem.

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO), heeding the premier's directrives, has commenced upgrades to the electricity system around Nadeem’s residence in Chak 101/15 L, Mian Channu.

MEPCO has delivered the necessary materials and equipment for the upgrade, including poles, transformers, and lines.

On August 12, MEPCO’s Kacha Khoh and Construction Sub-Division teams began installing the equipment needed to restore power.

The upgrade will involve the installation of four additional poles and a 100 kVA transformer.

The population of Chak 101/15 L, which consists of 200 households, will benefit from these improvements, which are aimed at enhancing the existing power supply infrastructure.

Chief Executive Officer of MEPCO, Engineer Nasir Ayaz Gurmani, along with Chief Engineer Development MEPCO Saif Ullah Serani and SE Khanewal Circle Sajad Hussain Gondal, visited Nadeem’s residence to convey their congratulations for his Olympic success and to discuss the power upgrade.

According to MEPCO’s spokesperson, the installation of poles and transformers at Arshad Nadeem’s residence is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
