Man, nephew injured over 'old enmity'

A man and his nephew were shot and injured by unidentified suspects allegedly over personal dispute in Wazir Goth on Monday.

Reportedly, the victim, 45-year-old Kamran Mahmood and his nephew 25-year-old Mahmood Saeed, workers at a rice mill, were on their way to home after work when two unidentified suspects opened fire and injured them.

They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors provided them with medical assistance.

Police said that the incident appears to be a result of old enmity as no valuables or cash was stolen. The official statements of the victims will be recorded after their complete recovery.

The police were investigating the incident. Kamran and Mahmood were residents of Federal B Area.
