Neeraj Chopra, the Indian athlete who secured a silver medal in the javelin throw event at Paris Olympics, boasts a net worth of approximately INR370 million. In stark contrast, the wealth of Pakistani Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem, who recently won gold in the javelin throw at the Paris Olympics, is significantly lower.
Arshad Nadeem made history by becoming the first Pakistani athlete to win a gold medal in an individual sport at the Olympics. His impressive javelin throw of nearly 93 metres also shattered a 118-year-old Olympic record, earning him a hero's welcome upon his return to Pakistan.
In recognition of his achievement, the government and various institutions, including the federal and provincial governments as well as KMC, have showered Nadeem with rewards worth millions of rupees.
However, before receiving these rewards, Arshad Nadeem's total wealth was less than PKR10 million, a stark contrast to the substantial INR370 million owned by his Indian counterpart, Neeraj Chopra.
