Plies has raised eyebrows with his recent claim that Elon Musk might take drastic action if Donald Trump continues to lag in the polls ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.

In a post on X, the rapper suggested that Musk, who rebranded Twitter as X after acquiring it, did so with the intent to influence the election outcome.

Plies wrote, "I Can See Elon Shutting Down Twitter When Trump Continues To Fall Behind In The Polls. He Brought Twitter To Influence The Election. An Before He Accepts A Trump Loss I Believe He’ll Shut It All Down!!!!!"

Musk has publicly shown support for Trump during his latest presidential campaign.

During a recent rally in Georgia, Trump mentioned Musk’s endorsement, stating, “I’m for electric cars. I have to be because, you know, Elon endorsed me very strongly. So I have no choice.” Trump further emphasized their relationship during a press conference at Mar-A-Lago, revealing that Musk had invited him to an upcoming show, which he expected to generate significant interest.

Plies, a longtime critic of Trump, has been vocal in his support for Kamala Harris since she replaced Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate for the upcoming election.

His latest comments highlight concerns over the influence of powerful figures like Musk in shaping political outcomes through social media platforms.
