ISLAMABAD:

PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui has raised concerns in response to a recent statement by Supreme Court judge Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and questioned whether it is equally necessary for Supreme Court verdicts to be aligned with the Constitution.

In a post on social media site X, he said: "Respected Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah stated that implementing court decisions is a mandatory constitutional requirement. The administration has no choice but to comply with these decisions." "While I fully agree with the honorable judge, I seek guidance on whether it is also a constitutional requirement for judicial decisions to be in accordance with the Constitution and the law," he asked.
