Pubjab's Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has criticised Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, suggesting that if the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader believes protests are the solution to all problems, then he should go ahead and organise one.

During a joint press conference with Chairperson of the Social Protection Authority, Hina Pervaiz Butt, Uzma pointed out that has held more protests than they have received votes, implying that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman ascended to leadership in Karachi through such demonstrations.

Uzma also turned her attention to the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), where she highlighted the deteriorating infrastructure, noting that while bridges are collapsing, certain leaders are preoccupied with pleasing their incarcerated leaders.

She questioned the timing of the demand for a judicial commission, wondering why it took a year to consider such a step.

Uzma further criticised PTI figures, including Hassan Niazi, Yasmin Rashid, and Ijaz Chaudhry, for allegedly orchestrating the coordinated attacks on military installations on May 9, targeting military sites.

She dismissed the necessity of a judicial commission, asserting that the events of May 9 are well-documented and remembered.

Uzma further addressed the Sania Zehra murder case, revealing that an attempt was made to disguise her murder as a suicide.

Forensic evidence contradicted the suicide claim, as no signs of strangulation were found, and DNA tests implicated the mother-in-law and husband.

Bukhari declared that those responsible, regardless of their power, would not escape justice, stressing that any injustices occurring during their government’s tenure must be punished accordingly.
