The bodies of four friends from Vehari, who lost their lives in a road accident in Abu Dhabi, have been returned to their homeland and laid to rest in their villages.
Mushtaq Arain, Shahid Arain, Zahid Arain, and Shehzad Arain were killed in an accident in Abu Dhabi a few days ago.
After completing the necessary formalities, their bodies were flown to Lahore airport and then transported to Vehari via ambulance.
The bodies of Shehzad Arain and Shahid Arain were taken to their ancestral graveyards in Sahiwal and Kahwer Pakka for burial, while Mushtaq Arain and Zahid Arain were buried in the 3WB area following their funeral prayers.
The arrival of the bodies plunged the villages into deep mourning, with grief-stricken residents gathering to pay their final respects. Every eye was filled with tears as the funeral processions moved through the streets.
Former MNA Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry and other local leaders condoled with the bereaved families.
