Joe Rogan has clarified his stance on endorsing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for President, after revealing support for the independent candidate over former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in the latest episode of his podcast.

Rogan, who has over 12 million followers on X (formerly Twitter) and hosts “The Joe Rogan Experience,” shared his views on his podcast on Thursday.

He criticised both Democrats and Republicans for misleading voters, stating, “They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”

Rogan praised Kennedy as “the only candidate that makes sense to me,” adding, “He doesn’t attack people; he attacks actions and ideas. He’s much more reasonable and intelligent…He’s a legitimate guy.”

However, in a follow-up post on X, Rogan clarified, “For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. I like RFK Jr. as a person and appreciate his civil and intelligent discourse. I’m not the guy to get political information from. If you want that from a comic, go to @ComicDaveSmith. He actually knows what he’s talking about.”

In the same post, Rogan also spoke positively about Trump, remarking, “I think Trump raising his fist and saying ‘fight!’ after getting shot is one of the most American things of all time.”

Rogan’s comments may disappoint some Kamala Harris supporters, who had hoped his influence would benefit Harris over Trump.
