Travis Scott and Playboi Carti have dedicated fan bases who are incredibly passionate about both artists.
They are some of the most respected figures in the genre, largely because of their innovative approach to it.
Soon, fans will have the opportunity to experience their collaborative experimentation in a live concert setting.
On August 7, Travis Scott and Playboi Carti revealed that they will be performing at the upcoming ComplexCon. Titled "OOCactus," the concerts are scheduled for November 16-17, 2024.
Travis Scott and Playboi Carti have shared the stage together on several occasions before.
Both artists performed at Rolling Loud Europe in July, and Carti joined Scott for a show in L.A. as recently as 2023.
The excitement didn’t end there. Shortly after announcing the joint concerts, Scott and Carti chose to preview a snippet of a brand new song.
The snippet lacks a title, but it offers everything fans could hope for. It begins with rich synths, followed by powerful drums and Travis Scott's vocal riffs.
Travis Scott and Playboi Carti have a notable history of collaborations. Scott featured on "Love Hurts" from Carti's breakthrough mixtape, Die Lit, as well as on "Green and Purple" and "BACKR00MS."
Playboi Carti has reciprocated by delivering standout verses on Travis Scott's track "FE!N."
The "00Cactus" concerts are a promising indication for fans who have been eagerly awaiting Carti's third studio album for years.
The rapper has been hinting at the release of the tentatively titled MUSIC since 2021.
