Car fire victims linked to drug, murder cases

Three men who had died after a fire broke out in a car on Sargodha Road have been found involved in drug and murder cases.

The police area waiting for the DNA test report of the victims.

Nishatabad SHO Shahid Awan said the car had caught fire three days ago in Chak Ram Diwali.

Mohsin Masih, a resident of Chamanzar Colony, Fayaz Ahmed of Sir Syed Town and Maqbool Arab Balu of Marzipura were killed in the incient. The official said the victims were involved in cases of murder, extortion and narcotics.

The SHO said the deceased had rented the car from Ali Town. He said the investigation to escertain the cause of the fire was under way, but it appeared that the men had been killed.

The mobile phones of all the three had been switched off at the same time and place. According to the police, there are seven cases registered against Mohsin, four against Fayyaz and four against Maqbool.
