White Lotus Season 3 Teaser: Natasha Rothwell, Parker Posey, and more arrive in Thailand

Season 3 has been filmed in stunning locations like Four Seasons Koh Samui, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket, and Bangkok.

Although Jennifer Coolidge’s beloved character Tanya McQuoid won’t be returning after her tragic fall in the Ionian Sea, fans of 'The White Lotus' can look forward to seeing another comic genius in the third season: Parker Posey. 

Dubbed the “queen of the indies” in the ’90s, Posey has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including a memorable cameo in 'Will & Grace'.

On January 5, it was confirmed that Posey will join the cast of Mike White’s acclaimed series, alongside Michelle Monaghan, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Dom Hetrakul. 

A few days later, it was announced that Carrie Coon, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Charlotte Le Bon, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, and *Sex Education*’s Aimee Lou Wood would also join the ensemble. 

Blackpink’s Lisa will make her acting debut in an undisclosed role.

Initially, Serbian-Russian actor Miloš Biković was cast but later replaced by Julian Kostov after controversy arose due to Biković’s past comments supporting Russia’s occupation of Crimea. 

The third season has been filmed in Thailand, including locations such as Four Seasons Koh Samui, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket, and Bangkok.

HBO recently released a sizzle reel featuring the first footage of the upcoming season, showing Parker Posey and other cast members arriving at the luxury resort and Leslie Bibb lounging by the pool. 

Showrunner Mike White hinted that the new season will explore themes of death, Eastern religion, and spirituality.

Returning to the series is Natasha Rothwell’s character Belinda, the spa manager from season one, who might have a significant storyline following Tanya’s demise. 

Fans are eagerly awaiting how the new characters, including those played by Posey, Coon, Wood, and Monaghan, will navigate the extravagant world of 'The White Lotus'.
