Amid rising street crime in the city, a distressed citizen was prevented from attempting self-immolation outside the Governor's House on Sunday.
The man, visibly agitated, shouted, "Let me die; there is no peace in the city." He further said, "On Saturday, my friend and I were robbed at gunpoint in Mochko area. I came to the Governor's House to file a complaint about the incident, but I was not allowed inside."
