A spokesperson for MrBeast issued a statement to the Associated Press, stating that Donaldson "acted like many kids and used inappropriate language while trying to be funny" as a teenager. They also emphasized that he has repeatedly apologized for past mistakes and understands the responsibility that comes with his massive influence.
MrBeast, who boasts a staggering 307 million YouTube subscribers, continues to produce popular content, including recent videos like "Ages 1 – 100 Decide Who Wins $250,000" and "I Built 100 Houses And Gave Them Away!" which have garnered over 100 million views each. He is also working on a reality competition show for Amazon Prime Video.
Despite the controversies, MrBeast's spokesperson affirmed his commitment to creating a positive impact with his community. They stated that as an adult, he has focused on working with his audience to make a difference in the world.
